With a degree in journalism, Alan Morici has been working as a professional photographer since 2006, when he began his career working at social events. After several specialization and improvement courses, he gained experience in the main areas of photography such as: social events, studio, tourism and press relations (political and institutional) until arriving at photojournalism in 2008.

In the same year, he began working as a photojournalist for news agencies, where he had the opportunity to work in the political, daily life, tourism, sports, and other editorial departments. In 2011, he was hired as a photojournalist by the sports newspaper Marca, from Editora O Dia, where his work was extended to other media outlets in the same group, such as the newspapers O Dia, Meia Hora, Brasil Econômico, and the IG portal, and was also part of the team of photographers at Portal Terra.
Since then, he has worked as a freelance photojournalist, with stints at several media outlets and football clubs, including the newspapers Folha de São Paulo, Diário de São Paulo, Lance!, DCI, Anamaco magazine and Portal Globo.com, the international agencies EFE and DPA, as well as the clubs Corinthians, Palmeiras and São Paulo and Neo Química Arena.
In the corporate world, he is or has been part of the team of official photographers for large companies, organizations and institutions such as: Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, Nissan, O Boticário, Pizza Hut, Livelo, Roku, Claro, Elo, Pernambucanas, Potencial Petróleo, Ceratti, Philips, ABAV, Lollapalooza, CBF, São Paulo Football Federation, Brazilian Paralympic Committee, Conmebol, NBA Brazil, WSL, UFC, Arena Corinthians, among others...
In addition to presidential campaigns, papal visits, São Paulo Fashion Week, popular demonstrations and international shows, he also participated in the coverage of some of the most important sporting events in the world such as: UFC, Copa América 2015, 2019 and 2020 in Chile and Brazil, South American under-15 club football in Paraguay, Judo World Cup, Brazilian Athletics Trophy, Handball World Cup, Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, Volleyball Grand Prix, more than 10 Brazilian Football Championships, Brazilian Cups, Libertadores da América, FIFA Club World Cup in Japan in 2012 and the Rio de Janeiro Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2016.
With photos published in some of the main communication vehicles in the country and the world, he participated in important photography exhibitions, among them: the individual photography exhibition “Olhar de Torcedor” in 2014, the “Retrospective 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2023 of photojournalism”, promoted by ARFOC-SP, 2nd National Salon of Photographic Art of greater ABC, exhibition "Ituano Campeão!" during the Interfoto Itu Festival 2014, Exhibition 'Retratos da Copa' promoted by ARFOC-SP in 2015 and, collaborated with some of his photos in the book "The Best of Brazilian Photojournalism" from 2011 to 2018 consecutively", published by Editora Europa.
Participated with an exhibited photo at the Paranapiacaba photography festival in 2022.
He received second place in the Canon photojournalism award in the protests and conflicts category in 2015, was awarded in the Nikon "I am the best in the field" competition in 2016 and was among the winners of the "Photographic art" competition of the greater ABC region in 2013.
In 2019, after graduating as a tour guide from Senac, he founded Pictur Photo Trip in partnership, a travel agency specializing in photographic trips, with the aim of uniting two passions: Tourism and photography.
More than a travel agency, the goal is to provide unforgettable moments with a focus on guiding participants in relation to the main photographic techniques and developing a photographic eye through tourism tools, using the world as a classroom.
He is currently the official photographer for the Secretary of Tourism and Travel of the state of São Paulo, where he covers the demands of the department's secretary on a daily basis and helps to promote the state's tourist destinations through his images.
